After Jack's first day on the campus which was full of drinking wondering and messing with a random male as well as his roommate. Which sadly he messed with her allot to the point she nearly knocked him cold once, though he wasn't being a complete dick just who he was. Trolling if one would say. Jack spent the next month wondering around some more as well of course drinking to kill his boredom, He had found many places that seemed "enjoyable" But so far he was having trouble actually finding much to do. He had seen many other students but most the time they where heading the opposite direction and he was low on booze so he made contact at a minimum for the most part. Honestly he wasn't shy nor scared to speak believe on that. Just rather wonder around enjoy his booze and get a complete understanding of the layout of this campus, which even in a month still much to find. Though one place he figured he might end up one day was shut off and it seemed as a "detention" area but mostly like a prison. Knowing his bad habit and short fuse for certain situations this would be his home eventually. Though he was found of their gym being they had a room which allowed him to raise his heat as high as he wanted. Working out and Training with his ability was something he still always focused on, due to working out the alcohol and staying in shape was a must. You never know when something might pop off and being a out of shape drunk was something he was not.
Current morning
Rolling around in the bed the six foot male slowly opened his eye's to the sunrise light beaming down onto his face, letting out a almost growl like sound "Morning already?" Feeling the slight affects of last nights drinking session. Rolling over on his back he stared up at the ceiling fan above him and let out a yawn. Reaching over he grabbed a pack of smokes and pulled one out. Glancing over he saw his zippo lighter wasn't there and sighed, then simply lighted it using a small baby flame he produced from his right index finger. Taking a drag then exhaling he slowly sat up his feet touched the carpet floor as the male sat there for a few more minutes while he enjoyed his morning smoke in his boxers staring out the patio door in the room. After a few minutes and with a few drags left on his smoke he finally stood to his feet and headed into the kitchen again almost forgetting he had a female sharing the room with him. As he proceeded out of the room he didn't forget to place his necklace on and a pair of pants. At least he was "nice" enough to put some pants on. Once he reached the kitchen the male found the coffee pot and began to make his self some coffee. While he waited and enjoyed his smoke the room began to fill with the fresh smell of coffee.
After it was ready he poured his self a large cup of coffee and left it black. He liked it that way only. Sweetener, sugar and creamer nope. Not in his coffee ever. He leaned against the counter scratching his chest while he glanced around the room wondering what there was to do today. Drink some more and probably find some people to talk too. Guess he should finally meet some of the people here. Who knows maybe he'll enjoy them or find someone "like" him. Never know. He was nomadic before coming here so honestly it's where ever the wind takes him now.

Though the social gathering of faculty was meant for fun times to be had, others to interact with one another, and to promote camaraderie, Siegmund envisioned a greater obstacle between himself and the others. They all seemed to have some form of ability to enjoy at least one persons company, a sense of.. belonging. Isolation being the common occurrence in his awakening. Understanding he could change the events himself, Siegmund calculated each and every possible scenario he could to just 'mingle' with the others, but alas, nothing seemed to favor positive reactions greater than a seventy five percent accuracy. Too risky. So until the others left the pool room. He spoke with Zila when she approached, but aside from her words converging into his processors, Siegmund left himself to question existence. The trip back to his suite was.. quiet.

The following month was interesting to say the least for the Golem. He found the mechanic's shop hidden away in the gym, just as Zila had explained. Upon entry, he was greeted by Ms. Antonette Vanko, a prodigy by most human standards when it came to intellect. She was nose deep in her work upon his arrival, and Siegmund had introduced himself promptly, expressing the necessary data to explain the situation. Not only did Ms. Vanko help repair his arm, she was intrigued by his construction. Offering what he could for accurate detailing on his design, Siegmund remained there for most of the days, giving Toni answers when asked. Mending even his synthetic skin and missing optic, Siegmund was fully reassembled within a few days time. He made sure to inform Toni he would frequently come visit her for both checkups and to converse. This was how socializing worked right?
When not interacting with his new mechanic, Siegmund found himself well, alone. His suite room was vacant of a tenant, so he spent as little time there as possible. Better to leave the room pristine for when someone would actually use it. Instead, the golem found himself venturing outside and sitting among the flowers or other forms of foliage brimming the perimeter of the academy. Such lavish plant life was scarce in his home world, so to get a chance to inspect it up close was prioritized, in case his services were no longer required and ended up back there. Though other organic life such as birds or squirrels were within his proximity, they never ventured close to him, both his scent of machinery and the produced heat he exhumed a clear indication that he wasn't 'friendly' in a logical sense of the matter.
About the only consistent event Siegmund could look forward to during his days of activation was a visit from Zila after curfew was instigated. Though not on an exact timed schedule, somewhere within forty seconds to fourteen minutes after the curfew bell would ring, Zila would make her presence known in the bar room, instantly greeting the golem with such confidence. She often did approximately seventy five percent of the talking, as Siegmund did his job of just listening and responding when prompted to. Her questions for him to ponder over were.. definitely processor grinders. Concepts of free thinking, of what he desired versus what he was programmed or asked to do. They all seemed to hint towards on factor or another. Regardless, Siegmund found formality in the visits, and always welcomed the occasion.

With the dawn of a new day, Siegmund was already activated in his suite, already dressed for a day 'off' work'. The other bartenders had chipped in to get Siegmund to experience more of the Academy on this eventful day, so he would oblige to their requests. However, as his morning was beginning, he received notification that a new faculty member would be arriving, and was to be his room mate. Since he was granted freedom for the day, what better way to start it than by greeting the newcomer? Making the trip to the front of the school, Siegmund sat in the front most chair he could find, awaiting their arrival.
To his exact calculations, the individual not only landed about four minutes, twelves seconds after his arrival, but they had also decided to venture through this exact door he was sitting across the room from. BAM! the door was kicked in, and a rather roughed up female organic life form stumbled in. Quick to share an introductory notion, she held up a finger towards him, the universal sign for 'hold up'. "My sensors indicate you are about to.." He started, before she spoke, rushing to a trash can and vomiting. ".. Produce bile." He finished his remark, standing up and venturing over to her side. "My sensors also indicate you are mildly injured. Do you need assistance to the medical clinic, or would you prefer immediate treatment?" His voice, monotone in normality, expressed concern for this new arrival. "Let me be the first to welcome you to Heartless Academy. I am Siegmund Gole, you assigned living arrangements partner." He gave her some distance so as to help give the non-hostile vibe one could so easily give off. "I serve as the Academy's bartender and a head chef. Let me know if there is anything you ever need."
Antonette Vanko
Toni was already in the kitchen when Jack came out. Seeing yet another cigarette in his hand she wrinkled her nose. She had already installed air purifiers in the room to help clear out the smoke smell. It damaged lung capacity for her and also generally did not do well with mechanics. She was already showered and fully dressed making bacon and eggs for herself. She did drink coffee but generally cold coffee as she would forget she had it and by the time she went to drink it, it had gone cold on her.
In her mind she was already going over the stats for Seig that she had taken from the last time she saw him. Was there anything she could do to help build for him? Upgrades to a system? The coding he had was unique and did not seem to like being tampered with. It reminded her of those Rune things one of her teachers had mentioned to her. A reminder popped up on her glasses display telling her that there was some kind of event today. Tilting her head as she looked at it she wondered if she should go or not.
Jack glanced up and shook his head in almost disbelief he didn't even see Toni, who was standing in the kitchen when he made his way in. He must have gone to hard on the bottle last night, being "extra" groggy. Though quickly picking up on her nose twitch which threw the last month she had made it clear smoking in the room was not respectful due to the fact it damages her lungs and has a bad smell. Jack who wasn't really one to agree to smoke rules did figure it was gonna be helpful to keep them from killing each other over him smoking allot. He headed out of the kitchen and towards the balcony, though while he was walking he threw up a nonchalant hand towards Tony "Sorry. I am having a slow morning and didn't see you standing there" he spoke as he dragged his feet walking, as this man was also slowly debating on how he would handle today. Once he got to the balcony he leaned on the railed while the warm heat from the sun beamed down onto his body. There was a slight breeze but it didn't change the fact the sun felt amazing right now. He took a sip of his coffee then followed by a drag of his cigarette. After a couple more drags Jack burnt the smoke to nothing but ash and blew it out of his hand before turning back around and heading back inside.
Once inside Jack's nose finally turned on and he smelt the room and instantly his stomach grumbled. He figured he would shower then get some food, cause whatever she was cooking smelt amazing. He'd cook some for his self. As he walked towards the bathroom to shower he jokingly 'again' shouted back at Tony "I'll be taking a shower, just not to peek again' Jack smirked as he walked into the bathroom shutting the door and turning to water on.

This organic lifeform was rather strange. She seemed to request him to halt his further offerings of servitude of hospitality until a further notice. His analysis presumed she was female, but errors could always happen too. The excess amount of bile she was producing was rather.. unsightly, but having no gag response or aversion to such sights, Siegmund remained vigilant near her side. Watching her sit back on her butt from the trash cans proximity, Siegmund was about to continue, when the organic female spoke again. Blinking, Siegmund cocked his head to one side, analyzing this 'lingo'. "You wish for me to slow down my speech by a single second interval, or to take a single second to halt? If the secondary phrasing, then it has already been a single second. By my calculations, at least ten seconds have elapsed since you stated such a statement." Was he being too in depth with his analyzing? Probably.

When the female in question began to eye him, Siegmund noticed a different expression upon her face that nearly eighty percent of the other organic life forms didn't use. She was analyzing him in return. Ms. Toni had done this previously when she first met him, and it was rather intriguing to be the subject matter for a change. Her rather.. strange sound she let out was unfamiliar to Siegmund's data banks for 'human' life forms. Was she perhaps different? Regardless, he stashed away such information for future use, as he watched her inspect her own body. Noting her blood and oil smears all about here, she was clearly injured upon arrival or departure from her previous location. A forced vacate? He was about to speak again, when she popped her own question. A rather strange one, Siegmund blinked for a moment before bringing a hand to his chest. Tapping the shirt he wore, the sound of hollow metal rang out in a muffled tone from his taps. "I.. am not sure which one you are fully referring to, but my calculations indicate automaton is the closest variable to my construction, with a ninety five percent accuracy. Normally I am just referred to as a Golem however."
He paused, looking to her backpack as she was adjusting it. Such a weight for someone in her state would cause mild discomfort if she attempted normal means of walking. Protocols would have to be taken. Her following questions brought his attention back to the current issue, and as she spoke about her whereabouts, Siegmund only blinked. "Correct. Heartless Academy is where you are currently. Instructions on how to 'graduate' this locale should have arrived to you via a letter. Contact with the outside world is prohibited, if not inaccessible." She seemed to have a more vulgar vocabulary than his previous roommate did, but that was something Siegmund was used to. Survivors in the wastelands of home world were often the worst when it came to filtering words for children.

Watching her try to stand, only to grab onto his arm for stability was intriguing. Organic life often fought so hard to survive. It was inspiring, if not amusing in its on way. Like something he could.. relate to? The thought caused a flicker in his processors, but was gone after her request for guidance to the clinic. As her hand touched his arm, she would feel the slow, radiating heat that resonated from within the core of his ligaments. Staring down at her, Siegmund processed the situation, before his body turned slightly. With a swift movement, he put an arm behind her legs, his other arm slipping from her grip to hold her back and her backpack. Tilting her back, he quickly and easily picked her up from the ground, carrying her in his arms. "My analysis has informed me such a journey would be detrimental to your current status. I shall carry you instead." He was monotone in voice, and began to head for the infirmary. If she listened to his chest at all, the soft crackling of a wood fire could be heard within his chest.
Abney
The man-droid over analyzed her request for a moment’s reprieve from the information dump and all Abney could do was stare at him and blink. “Too literal.” she answered the thought process she didn’t even know he was thinking. Siegmund seemed confused by her question and Abney guessed she’d have to break it down some more until he tapped at his own chest, a metal sound reverberating from his chest. He was an automaton after all, though he preferred to be called ‘golem’. Abney let another snort out of her lips at the droid’s preference for ‘golem’. “Just like home.” she muttered to herself. If this place had more automatons, droids, even golem’s - maybe a vampire or two, or maybe a werewolf - Abney would be right at home in a new place she didn’t even know existed until now!
Though the golem seemed to hesitate a moment as she held onto him for stability, Abney barely noticed as the warmth of metal a welcomed distraction the chaos that now swirled within her mind and the storms of questions. How was she going to get home? With the chaos at home, Abney wasn’t even sure if she wanted to be back on the H.M.S Odin at this point in time but that was neither here nor there. There wasn’t much room in her brain to process the particular thoughts on her home, her brain was consumed with what was happening here and now in front of her and the golem’s hesitation and monotoned way of speaking.
Thinking of him - maybe he hesitated because he didn’t like to be touched? Siegmund didn’t know her and it was distinctly possible that he wasn’t a fan of her grabbing onto him for stability. Abney began to mumble an apology for grabbing onto him so thoughtlessly when he moved faster than she could keep up with. One minute she was planted firmly on the ground and the next thing she knew, the engineer was being lifted into the air with a loud ‘whoa’ tumbling out of her lips. Abney all but flailed as Siegmund lifted her effortlessly, flinging her arm around his neck and clinging to him in a moment of panic.
Abney stared at the golem, registering that he was carrying her before stammering and beginning to weakly protest before stopping herself at his ‘analisis’. The golem wasn’t wrong, Abney could barely balance enough to grab onto his arm let alone probably walk to the infirmary. Groaning to herself at how weak she felt, Abney let her head fall into his chest and allowed the soothing heat and faint sound of crackling to lull her into relaxing. It was then that it registered in her head that all outside contact was prohibited. Abney lifted her head back up and shook it. “No, no - I have to let my dad know I’m okay. He’ll start World War Four over me, trust me.” Abney stated, all but promising to the golem that she was going to break the rule to the best of her ability. As soon as Abney had any form of strength left, she intended to break the crap out of that rule even if it was just for a few moments. With her head spinning, Abney laid her head back into his chest and watched the hallways go by. How big was this place? And how many students were here? And on top of all of those questions popping into her mind - how many of these people were here willingly and how many of them were kidnapped or how many of them were here by total accident like Abney was only to be told they were stuck here.
How long they walked, Abney couldn’t tell. She closed her eyes to rest them and ended up falling asleep for what felt like a brief moment before hearing the chattering of a woman and the same monotone voice. The girl blinked her emerald eyes, the blurry vision settling on a blonde woman who seemed almost surprised to see such a disheveled woman being carried in by a golem. “How do?” Abney greeted tiredly, giving a half wave from the hand around Siegmund’s shoulder.
Antonette Vanko
Toni glared at Jacks back as he made some half assed excuse about not seeing her and that was why he was still smoking. She finished the bacon and started her eggs as he headed to the bathroom. Hearing him call to her to try not to peek she snickered to herself. ”Who the hell would want to peek on your smokey ass?” After a few minutes she set the pan to the side and plated her eggs. Picking up the plate she headed to the island and sat eating her breakfast. Pulling out her laptop she started rummaging on it while she ate figuring out different parts of code and completely lost track of time until the afternoon bell rang. Now whether or not Jack had come back out she had no idea but oh well.
Closing the laptop she went to the balcony and looked out seeing lots of things for the festival. This would be a perfect time for her to see different people and categorize them. She had many already in her database from classes but this would be a lot of people.
Grabbing a light jacket in case the sun was a bit much for her she headed out the door and went to go check out the festival.

The amount of stares and eye contact this organic life form was making with him was slightly above the average levels he'd received, roughly fourteen percent higher to be exact. Was he fascinating, an eyesore, or some variable in between? Whatever may be the case, this female was in need of medical attention. Even in his lifting of her, she seemed to provide some curious reactions to his motives, trying to break free while in her weakened state. "Struggling while being assisted to a medical infirmary is ill advised. Will only produce a prolonged necessity in said infirmary." His monotone voice expressing concern for her condition. With her co operation, she eventually settled down against him, a curious posture she took. Was she comfortable against him? Most organic life hated being so close to something so crudely made. The fires within him continued to function, propelling him to his destination with a steady pace.
As he broke the silence with talk about no contact with the outside worlds, Abney seemed a bit uneasy about that regard. She claimed to be able to do so, and was intending to make it happen, lest a 'World War Four' would commence wherever she was from. "Such a matter should not be of concern for you right now, as such a demand is unobtainable to a ninety nine point nine percent certainty." He kept walking as he explained this, a processing concept coming into his head with a small smile. "Besides, only a world war four? Seems your home world has some catching up to do." Humor. Not a strong function of his, but it occasionally came out here and there when the processors allowed it. Eventually she seemed to lull into a soft slumber, possibly from fatigue or blood loss. Siegmund was analyzing and hoping it was the first alternative.

Upon entry to the infirmary, Siegmund's scanners fixated on the female organic life form awaiting their arrival. He had yet to meet this individual, but she seemed to be someone who held a vast knowledge of the locale. At least that's what his information database told him. "Excuse me, I am..""Siegmund Gole, our bartender and recently promoted head chef, yes. I already know that." The woman spoke, her eyes not even lifting from the paper she had in hand. Siegmund blinked a few times, his calculations on this individuals ability to calculate his next words was intriguing. "Correct. I understand this is out of my jurisdiction in functions, but I have broug..""Miss Abney Demor, new faculty member to Heartless Academy. I am aware of her arrival, but her condition seems inadequate." Again Siegmund was cut off by Sophia. Approaching the golem and Abney, Sophia seemed a bit.. surprised by her status. "What happened to her?" She spoke, looking from her up to Siegmund's face, then back to Abney. "My calculations indicate a rough entry point from traveling here. Possible struggle on the 'other end' of the portal." He was giving what report he could, as Abney finally flickered her eyes open, waving to Sophia.
Giving a small wave in response to Abney, Sophia blinked a few times, a look of befuddlement at such a greeting. "Hello Ms. Demor. I am Sophia, and I will be tending to your medical needs. Siegmund, please place her on the bed here." Siegmund nodded, before laying Abney on the bed, stepping back a few steps to let Sophia do her thing. "Now, please inform me of what happened." As Abney began to talk, Sophia jotted down the information, before fetching a capsule and opening it next to Abney. "Alright, these nanobots should tend to your wounds." Looking up to Siegmund as she passed by, Sophia only nodded, before making an exit, not even stating a goodbye or any interaction.
❤In my ℌeart I have but one Đesire

Siegmund blinked several times as he stared at the door, considering the scene he'd just witnessed was rather intriguing and needed further analysis. However, the issue at hand was watching the nanobots mend all of Abney's wounds. "Fascinating. To consider this academy has the capacity for such advanced technology. Provides a further plausible cause for my construction to be considered obsolete." His words came out just as monotone as ever. "Are you feeling better? Do you wish to see your living quarters?"
Izado raised his eyebrow. He usually didn't check his phone. There were people he could message, but in the mornings, he never really expected much from it. So when he looked at all the stuff going on, he was rather floored that there was...so much! Even more so...a lot of the things listed, he had NO idea what they were. His wings vanished in a bit of light and he walked over to help her finish the breakfast going on. Trying to resist the urge to drink his orange juice early before food.
As he took over, he nodded to her. Y-yeah it had like...chairs? With an umbrella roof....and windows? It's an odd thing...""He replied, unsure of what he was witnessing. Izado listened and narrowed his eyes. People...slid down the water slides? Where was the joy in that exactly? He wasn't really clear on why Ilene would be scared of that and not the rollercoaster. "So they...don't fall out?" Izado wasn't the best when it came to physics. Even though he flew in the air, he couldn't tell you how except for magic, not the actual aerodynamics behind it. "Uhm...ok!" He said, sort of eager to go try these new things. If they were normal for her to know about, he might need to get used to it himself.
Izado had a bit of an information overload. Why were there so many rules to this?! He had no idea what swim trunks were, or why they were special compared to just shorts. "Ok, yes..uh ok...let me...go see..." Izado finished up his food and sipped his orange juice before standing up. He walked over to a drawer and pulled it open to find new shorts in them. He narrowed his eyes at them before picking them up and finding a net inside. It looked like his legs went through like regular pants, why did he need a net....here?! Izado changed and walked out to Ilene to show her the trunks first. "Ah..w..why ..is there a net...it's odd...." Was it to catch something? Was it to prevent something? Izado didn't know, he just went through the norms and abided. Once she approved he went to grab a sleevless shirt to wear and walked back out. "Sure. I can look at some spots while your with Emilia." He said, in regards to places to watch fireworks. He wasn't sure if he'd love it, but he'd try for her anyway.
Izado went with Ilene on a good portion of things. He gravitated more to the rollercoasters instead of the water park, since Ilene wasn't fond of the slides involved. On the roller coaster he might of asked about ten questions, wondering why the lap bar was there, or why it started off so slow when it was supposed to be fast as she had explained. During the big coaster, Ilene didn't know, but Izado had to stop time and catch his breath. Overall he enjoyed rollercoasters, a lot! It was the highlight of everything. He asked about the carni games, but they didn't have to much time to play with them since Ilene had to meet Emelia shortly. He might try and come back later and win something...that's what he could do after all. Would he be disqualified by stopping time? Questions, questions.
Eventually the afternoon bell rang and just as quick she was gone. "Hm...punctual.." Izado waved her off and decided to fly back and look for some areas to watch fireworks. Izado considered a few spots for it, here and there. In his stupor, he looked around he walked straight into someone and fell over. Izado took a moment to regain his composure and he stood up. "Sorry...about that...I wasn't looking where I was going...!"The woman before him had on a fairly casual outfit and a light jacket on. She was by herself it looked like. "My bad...I'll uh..be more careful..."
Abney
Abney snorted softly when Siegmund ‘joked’, or as close to a joke as the golem could manage, about a world war 4. She would have to tell him a story sometime, one that consisted of a horrible 3 that resulted in a lasting peace. Or peace until her father would rip everything apart looking for her, that is. It wasn’t too long after this that the woman, Sophia, introduced herself and instructed the golem to place her on a bed. Thankfully he complied, Abney feeling much better on a solid surface than hoisted in the air by anyone for fear of being dropped once he was sick of her sarcasm. The blonde woman then asked her what happened. The hilarity of the question didn’t escape the injured engineer who couldn’t help the reaction. Abney snorted again, louder this time. “Honey that is a long story.” she admitted, holding out her hands to let Sophia examine the damage done to her palms. Abney couldn’t believe her own nails did that much damage to the skin of her hands, refusing to let go of the string that held the crystal keys to the ships’ engines. Oh her father would have a field day here soon when he realized it…
That’s when the engineer decided to let her brain click in and answer the question given to her.
“I’m a jumper. Yeah - that’s a good summary.” the woman determined, nodding her head to herself as if she were struggling trying to define what just happened.“In case you’ve not heard of them - I realm hop whether by accident or on purpose. And this time was an accident - I was doing a thing in my world and the next thing I know, there’s a wall at my face and I crash landed in the area just outside. The door wouldn’t cooperate so I kicked it down and the rest is history! Now I’m twelve shades of realm sick covered in grease and oil with a golem carrying me around like I’m an engineering Cinderella.” Abney rambled while the woman jotted everything down.
That’s when the blonde woman decided to rock Abney’s world and introduce her to nanobots. The woman snuck out while Abney stared at her hands, watching the wounds mend together slowly but surely thanks to microscopic little robots. The engineer’s mind raced a thousand miles a minute; the possibilities for this kind of technology was unlimited and could be applied to so very many things and not just in this realm. How much faster could her own job go if she implemented nanotechnology into the pipes of her own ship? Instead of curing wounds, it could mend metal and keep up basic work perhaps? Or even go steps further and keep up work during battle so that the engineer's weren’t in such demand across the ships to the point where rookie mistakes were made by even veterans. They could take their time instead of rushing out of fear of an explosion. A grin broke out on the engineers face as her brain kept going faster and faster. “Whoa that’s so freaking cool,” she expressed, unable to find many more words to sum it up without dropping curses everywhere.
Siegmund spoke again, forcing her thoughts to apply the breaks and try to pay attention, the golem expressing his own almost amazement at the technology. “I know right!” she almost squealed in agreement with the marvel at technology. But she then gave a shrug to his construction. “Nothing is truly obsolete. With enough upgrades - everything can be like new and you’re no different.” Abney almost encouraged the golem, putting her hands down tentatively in almost fear she’d stop or interfere with the nanobots job. After a few moment’s of silence, Abney noticed the distinct difference in the nausea. Her stomach stopped churning, angrily cursing it’s own existence and began to calm, along with the urge to use another trash can. Could it be that these little machines helped the nausea wreaking havoc on her stomach too and not just wounds? Possibilities began to soar in her mind yet again, Abney almost missing Siegmund’s words.
The engineer blinked at the golem, confusion almost rattling around in her brain. A bedroom of her own? That didn’t sound right at all. “It’s nice to not have holes in your hands and arms but I get a room? And it’s not a hammock that’s suspended from pipes above an overheating engine? ‘Cus I’ve been tricked like that before and I am totally not falling for it again!” she warned, holding a finger up at the golem in warning.
Antonette Vanko
Toni was headed outside when she heard a noise, one of the school bells, and looked away from where she was going for a moment. Feeling a rather solid body run into hers she stumbled backwards and nearly fell but caught herself just before. Seeing a young man standing up she blushed faintly and stood up herself. ”I’m sorry. I wasn’t paying attention either. Are you alright?” she wasn’t quite sure what to say or do in this situation. The boy was very attractive but Toni did her best to not let her eyes stay to long in one area of him. He reminded her of a typical surfer dude in his outfit.
”I’m Toni, what’s your name? I was headed to check out the festival going on. Have you been yet?” She wasn’t sure what came over her but she thought to at least ask his name and see if he had been where she was going. Maybe he could tell her if it was going to be a waste of time.
Izado nodded his head. "Y-yeah...I'm fine...I wasn't watching myself." Considering his abilities, it didn't occur to him to really rewind time before it didn't really matter. Besides, meeting someone new wasn't so bad, though there was an odd feeling when you met someone by crashing into them. Izado checked himself, he was totally fine.
"Oh, sorry. I forgot it's rude to not introduce yourself...I'm Izado Tai. I uh....well no I haven't seen them. I just came from the coasters and...stuff, Those were...interesting." He had just finished fixing his hair from the coaster, he did plan on seeing them after all. "Do you....want to....see them?"Izado was still working on his interactions. He was often with Ilene, so when it came to anyone new, he wanted to be sure whatever he was saying or doing was ok or made sense. "Theres quite a few of them actually. I think...uhm...there was an astrology one that seemed cool." He felt confident in this, he had to be nailing this casual conversation thing...right?
"So uh..what brings you here?" Izado did wonder that about a lot of people here, maybe asking this was to personal to start off, but he wasn't going to know unless he was told right now. Then again, he could always rewind and try again.

Though Abney was going for a humorous response towards Sophia's questions, she only got emotionless stares back towards her direction from both of them. As she explained what she was, what her 'species' was called, only Siegmund took mental notes, his processors absorbing what he could of it all. Her arrival had been much different compared to his own, to which Siegmund also found fascinating. However, Sophia didn't stick around long, and Siegmund was left to watch over Abney as the nanobots did their work on her wounds.
Seeing Abney so enveloped into the nanobots, Siegmund also marveled at how wondrous they worked, remarking about his own obsolete status in comparison to such technologies. Just looking at Abney being so infatuated with the tech, Siegmund could almost see the gears turning in her head. Which, was a strange notion to make, organic life forms didn't have gears. At least, that was what his calculations told him, did some have gears? All this plausible what ifs processed through his head while the little Jumper watched her body mend before her eyes. Though he spoke ill about himself, Siegmund factored that such a comment would go unchecked, as his company was so involved with her current observations. However, as her words reached him about upgrades, Siegmund shifted in place. Upgrading? Was that even something he'd consider? His visual scanners went to his hands, analyzing them as he recalled Ms. Toni repairing his arm for him. She had been able to acquire the necessary metals to do a flawless repair, but to upgrade himself? That would take further calculations, endless understanding, and time. Siegmund had all three in abundance, but what held him back?

Shifting the conversation over to the discussion of her seeing her living quarters, Abney seemed to disbelieve she was getting a good deal. "The academy provides not only a room, but a commons area, kitchen, fully stocked bathroom, patio, and a bedroom for the faculty. However." He paused, moving to the other side of the bed. "Such arrangements are shared with another faculty member. As of currently, such an arrangement has been set up for said suite to be shared between us. But as a Golem I hardly have any functionality for such a space. I return only to change uniforms and to enter sleep mode." He held out a hand to help her up now, continuing as he did so. "I can show you the room if you are so inclined to listen."

As they left the infirmary, Siegmund was quiet, as was per usual for his demeanor. He answered whatever questions Abney had for him, but overall he remained a stoically quiet person for their trip. Something had been pulling at his processors all day, as he hadn't stepped out of the building much. He'd heard that today the environment around the academy was going to change to a more beach feel, something Siegmund had never witnessed. Sand he was used to, but what else came with beaches? Water? Seeing a body of water that was 'naturally' made would be an interesting endeavor to see. As they reached the suite room hallway, Siegmund addressed one of the doors with his hand, holding it open to let Abney see inside. "This is your living space. Do with it as you please, as the school often repairs any damages it sustains on its own accord." He remained in the doorway while she looked about, his processors still lingering on the topic of the this beach setup. Was he feeling an emotion to seek it out?

Toni smirked slightly as the male said he hadn’t been paying attention himself. Well at least now she didn’t feel so bad. After a short self-assessment Toni realized she was fine and looked back up at Izado. ”Pleasure to meet you Mr. Tai.” As he mentioned coming from the coasters and that they were “interesting” ”I take it you are not a complete fan of the coasters?” she laughed softly before shrugging and stepping out a bit further. ”I’m not either. I get enough of that from the Suits I build. I was going to check out the carnival side.” and so he asked if she wanted to see them. Nodding she laughed softly. Looking over them all she shoved her hands in her pockets as he gave a brief overview of which ones were around and which ones he thought were interesting. ”Like astrology huh?” she teased slightly before smirking and shrugging. ”Join me for a walk around the booths? You don’t have to, but it is nice to have someone else there, or so I’m told anyway.” she nodded her head towards the booths before turning to walk in that direction pausing after a bit to see if he would indeed join her. ”Do you mean to the school or to the festival? For the festival it was just something to do for a change. It’s good to get away from work every so often. Besides I may come up with new ideas while walking about. What about you?” she turned the question on him as they potentially wondered around. If he hadn’t followed her she would have just stopped and answered him where they were.
Abney
Abney listened to Siegmund, unable to believe that it was all going to be just… handed over to her. She squinted at him and made a mental note to ask what the catch was later but she had a feeling that the ‘catch’ was her staying there and not complaining about it. A patio… she would get to see outside and even go out whenever she wanted, not only to hurl fireballs at things. Abney was almost giddy at the idea, taking the hand that was offered to aid in her getting up. “Lead the way,” she invited, find that balancing was easier when the world wasn’t spinning. After assuring herself that her face wasn’t going to meet the pavement again, Abyssia let go of Siegmund’s hand, not wanting to cause any awkward gears to turn in his head.
The hallways weren’t as endless as the engineer had thought while she was passing in and out of a slumber, her eyes trailing the walls and ceiling as if trying to dissect them and figure them out. The thing that struck Abney the most was how clean everything was; the floor beneath her bare feet was shiny enough to see herself in and the walls were pristine. It was almost as if this place had a team of cleaning ninja that thought dirt and grime was their true, number one nemesis and battled it every day. The engineer almost chuckled at her own thoughts, smiling to herself. “So this is a school, huh?” she found herself asking to break up the silence. Even though she was aware Golems tended to not speak unless spoken to, Abney didn’t want to settle within the natural pace of silence just yet. That would probably come later. “Odd looking school. Odd school, period.” she mumbled the last part to herself, noting the silent blonde and the golem. If that was any indication - Abney planned on running into at least twenty different species of people just that day alone or as long as the fumes of her energy upheld.
Siegmund held open the door and Abney peeked in it, noting that it was exactly as he described. Hesitantly stepping into the room, Abney looked around more as was immediately struck by how bright, open and pretty it was. It was so unlike an engine room with it’s plush seats, a bookshelf above the bed and even a pond -a pond?!- in the room. The water source made her do a double take, pausing just a moment to just stare at it. The water was so crisp and clear, brimming with natural moving energy that she was sure dunking her crystals in there would be a magnificent experience. Abney resolved to not start throwing her crystals everywhere just yet and explore a bit more, wandering aimlessly through the wide space toward the kitchen. Her fingers trailed over the stone, whispering her amazement. The only kitchen she had ever cooked in or ate in was a cafetera surrounded by beasts of all kinds in cramped quarters. This table alone could sit ten of her crew practically. Abney diverted her attention from the kitchen to the huge windows that were, again, so unlike the ones on Odin or Persephone. Abney peered through the open, wide windows and noticed… a beach. She blinked again, surprise gripping her and the engineer turned to Siegmund, motioning over her shoulder with her thumb. “Is - is that a beach?!” she asked, unable to comprehend what her eyes were showing her. First this fantastic room and then a beach? Maybe the catch of her not complaining and being complacent about being here wasn’t going to be so hard after all. “No freaking way, dude!” she exclaimed, a grin breaking out on her face as she turned to run out the door again. The engineer suddenly didn’t care how she did it, she just wanted to see that beach in person.
It took a minute for her to find it, asking directions and following the powerful smell of delicious food. But Abney burst out the doors and into the sunlight and fresh air. She was suddenly like a child, gaping and turning every which way, ignoring the odd looks she sometimes got as Abney just stared at the open, clear sky. It was amazing how blue the sky was when it wasn’t interrupted by flashes of a thousand different portals. The engineer got out of people’s way, muttering her apologies as she navigated her way through people to find the beach. People were so unique here: some in kimonos, some in bathing suits, other’s performing on a stage or even in various booths; clearly, this was a highlight to people’s day. When the witch’s feet met the sand, another grin broke out on her face as she slowly walked to the water, just soaking in that feeling of sand between her toes. Cool water met Abney’s feet and she just let out a laugh, basking in the sun all too happily. When she closed her eyes, it almost felt like home. Abney hummed to herself, almost forgetting the dreadful experience that led her here and letting it slip away like a dream if only for the moment. It was amazing how some sun and water could charge one’s battery.
Izado bowed slightly and then looked over at the coasters. "I uh....I have never seen these...coasters before. So when I got on...it was not what I was expecting. It's not the same as when I fly." The g-forces on those coasters were crazy. Some part of him liked the experience, but he might have to be talked into it the next time he was going to get on that. Izado looked at her outfit, this wasn't a suit. "Suits?" He was curious, but it sounded like she liked to build cool things, maybe anyway.
Izado shrugged, "Yeah the...stars and stuff are pretty cool. Though I don't know to much about that kind of stuff. I'm still trying to figure some things out." Izado looked back at the booths and nodded, "Sure." Ilene was busy with her friends, so he might as well go do something with himself for the time being. He walked next to her and asked what brought her here. He didn't notice the double meaning, but he was ok with the answer of the festival. "Oh well...my girlfriend...she was really excited to see this stuff....but you know...I had never seen this kind of stuff before, so she wanted me to experience this...ca......rnival?" Izado was sure that was the name. "Yeah I dont know what all of these things are, but the rest of the students seem to know, which is nice." Izado took a look at the booths and noticed several people hovering around the booths already. "A lot of people around there....maybe we could find another thing around here....I'm sorry I actually have no idea what else could even be here...do you have any ideas?" Izado didn't want to make a big crowd around the booths. He was ok not seeing them. Seeing as how he didn't know carnivals at all, he wasn't sure what else would be around here besides the things he already witnessed.

Abney accepted the hand to get up, and after a few moments of stabilizing herself, she let go of it. Calculations indicated to not give off the wrong 'idea' about social interactions or what not. Siegmund understood. With their venture underway, he lead the out of the infirmary and into the vast amounts of hallways. His peripherals noted her curiosity, watching her eyes and head scan nearly everything and anything they passed by. It reminded him of his first days here, trying to analyze so much in a single twenty four hour time period. The task was ill advised however, there was a lot of data to upload and download for such a task. "Indeed. Though I do not know the exact functionality of such a separated educational facility, nor the overall curriculum agenda of this place, it still functions as a place of 'higher learning'." Though his voice was monotone, he expressed his curiosity with emphasis on the learning segment. Just what was the ultimate goal of this academy? Was it solely to make others fall in love? What was this concept? Though her words came out again about the school, Siegmund noted she was simply just talking for the sake of talking. Remaining quiet, he awaited until they arrived to their suite to speak, showing her the interior.

It was intriguing to see Abney so excited yet weary of the room. Her fascination was one to analyze and store for later data, was she not accustomed to such a living? Perhaps a further conversation of understanding would be needed. Watching his roommate inspect the various things in the room, Siegmund stood by the door until she came over, motioning towards the window about a beach. Nodding, Siegmund spoke. "Indeed, it was explained on a previous day that a beach would be materialized into the surrounding area for today. Normally it is wooded forest vegetation and temperate zone wildlife. Intriguing, if not fascinating." It seemed though Abney was just excited about the beach, and took off from the room, calculations indicating she must have headed for the beach. With a sigh, Siegmund stepped out of the room himself, closing the door behind him as he left.

He'd lost sight of his roommate, but it didn't matter. First analysis indicated she was able to handle herself, just had gotten a rough arrival to the academy perimeters. Siegmund decided to attend this beach himself, unsure of what it fully entitled. As he stepped outside of the building however, he was met with a sight he'd never captured in his sensors before. Water. Lots and lots of water. Ocean as far as the eyes could see, surrounding the locale. This imagery brought a sudden stiffness to his joints, as he seemed frozen in place at the doorway entrance. What was this feeling of inability to move? Letting a system override take action, Siegmund ventured away from the doors, away from the groups of people enjoying the beach weather and ocean waves. He isolated himself, finding himself alone on a stretch of beach. The quiet waves crashed up to the sandy beach, a sight and texture he was familiar with, but this vast water before him was foreign. His body felt, compelled to investigate this watery landscape further, but as his feet reached the last segment where water lapped onto the shore, he froze again. His override had stopped, and protocols took action. He couldn't move, he couldn't turn. Stranded in place, he watched as the waves came closer to his proximity, his sensors sending warning signs throughout him. Was this.. fear?

Toni raised an eyebrow when Izado said when he flew. ”You fly? How?” she was curious to say the least. When he questioned her word choice she shrugged. ”I build armor suits. Something a person can wear to fight in. Almost every model has flight capability now.” she looked around not really caring that she was talking to a stranger about her work.
Having Izado walk with her she grinned and laughed softly as he spoke of the stars. ”You speak so vaguely about them. What things are you trying to figure out?” She did give pause though when he mentioned a girlfriend. Shouldn’t he be with her then? It was something she made note of but left alone. It wasn’t her place to meddle in other people’s lives. ”So she just let you loose on the Carnival huh? That’s nice of her.” there was slight sarcasm in her tone but it was lost as she came to some of the booths that were selling random wares. At his question of what could be present she looked up at him curiously. ”All carnivals are different. Some are themed. We had one back home called the wool fest. It was everything and anything wool. It was really weird. So this one could be just about anything. From what I’m finding out about the school itself it may be a mix match from people’s homes? What kinds of things would be here from where you hail from?” she wondered if that was a good way to phrase that question. ”What would people do for fun?” Toni looked around adjusting the glasses she wore to let Val continue to monitor things.
Abney
Abney laughed to herself, unable to help it. The water lapped over her feet, causing her to giggle to herself. It was a content moment - the first one since landing here in this place. The warmth of the sun, the cool water washing over her and the sand just sinking beneath her feet. The relaxing helped ease the stress of her entrapment in this seemingly hellhole place. Abney didn’t take kindly to being potentially kidnapped and then trapped and imprisoned with no contact to the outside world. Suddenly - the crystalline keys of the other airships felt heavy around her neck as her eyes found the water and studied the lines that formed while it swelled and receded. Maybe taking the keys wasn’t such a brilliant idea…
Of course - that train of thought was interrupted by a boy. He commented about how nice it was and how it was a change from the normal scenery. Abney hummed her agreement before blinking as the words sank in. “Wait a second - this changes?” she asked, motioning to the sea. Oh how she was hoping that the sea was a permanent thing… It was then she remembered that Siegmund was saying something about that before she had taken off in her glee. Maybe Abney could have stumbled upon this realization before if she had only listened to her new ‘companion’. “What the fu-” she mumbled to herself, the realization sinking in that this place changed. The sentence died on her lips as Abney's metaphorical gears turned yet again. It seemed that it wasn’t just the dang people that were magical - it was the place itself. The idea caused Abney to stare off at the building while the boy kept on. Was it sentient? Was it alive in some way, shape, or form and not just with a consciousness?
It was then Abney realized she had left Siegmund in her dust, probably to blankly wonder where his new, once-wounded new roommate was. Or he wouldn’t care since he is a robot after all with no real human heart or real human attributes except false skin over gears. Could he even feel like a person or is it just cold signals from a core to the rest of him like a human except more sterile, without feeling? Abney wanted to believe that everything had a soul and had feelings but at the same time - maybe some things didn’t. Maybe Siegmund was the exception to most cases since he probably wasn't even from here. How many kids landed here willingly...? It was then that Abney reminded herself that she talked to her ship as if it was a person and some thought she was crazy for it. The engineer pursed her lips to herself, trying not to think about her personal philosophies at the moment. The boy stopped yammering.
Turns out - the boy’s name is Ostrava and he had a bird! Abney laughed to herself once more, watching the bird gracefully fly down as if to ask the boy, Ostrava, if he forgot someone. Abney approached the boy a bit more but stopped within arms length as to not agitate the bird. Was this a pet, a spirit animal, a manufactured companion? Abney couldn’t tell and wouldn’t begin to assume - holding her hand up to let the bird get either a scent or a taste of her aura or however that worked. “Vulo huh? What a pretty guy!” she complimented, smiling brightly. “Oh now who’s demonstrating shitty manners? Me, of course. My name is Abney and I just landed here a few hours ago. The pleasure is all mine, heroling!” she informed, withholding all the sarcasm she possibly could from the young man. ‘Landed’ sounded a lot better than ‘I got hurled into a brick wall screaming my lungs out’ and a lot less worry inducing.
Izado had come to the realization of something with her question. The first few things out of his mouth when he got here was that he was an Angel, he had yet to say so to Toni. "Right..I'm...an angel. Like...from Heaven." He clarified because he figured there might be a misunderstanding. "I didn't have wings when I got here, but I do now." He had his wings appear in a glistening light and folded them behind him. "I tend to wake up early so I go out to fly when I do." He said asking about her own things. He tilted his head at it though, "Armor...suits?"He simply pictured a suit and it being armor plated, he wasn't sure what she meant because it looked silly. "I'm not sure what an...armor suit is, but if you build it..it means your pretty smart right?" Izado didn't know to much about how things work, so a lot of normal things were lost on him.
Izado scratched his head, "Well...science...and astrology and stuff like that...I uh...I don't know anything about those things....very little anyway." He proceeded to explain a little bit more before mentioning Ilene. He laughed,"Oh well we went on roller coasters...and ate some new things. She has other friends, I wouldn't want to keep her from them or anything like that." Izado said. They had spent a lot of time together, so the fact that she was ok going to hang with some of her friends was more than ok for the angel. As they got to the booths Izado wondered about this kind of activity. This seemed out of the blue and nothing here was familiar to him. To hear there might be other types of carnivals made him wonder if he would see them himself one day. "Well...we don't have this kind of..celebration in Heaven, there are some special cases, but nothing of this magnitude. " Izado tilted his head and folded his arms. "Well....Heaven is fairly..free to do things that make you happy. I uh...I can't really.....explain because of...how I was there...I'm quite different now a days." He responded. He was very anti-social when he was back there, he would imagine his return would net a different feeling as well as different activities he might end up doing.
Izado got a necklace for Ilene...he wasn't sure if she would like it, but he thought to show it to her when he saw her next. "I heard there were some fireworks tonight...where you going to go see them?"
Antonette Vanko
Toni stopped dead in her tracks and turned to look at Izado like he was a moron. she wasn’t sure she believed him and frankly he could be a raving lunatic but Val pointed out his regular vitals. Frowning at him she put her hands on her hips and tilted her head. she hadn’t found one ‘normal’ human like herself yet. All of them seemed to have some kind of power or special abilities. Toni was realizing rather quickly that she had been given the short end of the stick in life rather hard.
As he brought out his wings she took a step back in shock but Val recorded every moment of it for analysis. Toni herself was left gaping at him before she finally closed her mouth with an audible click and shook her head. she wasn’t sure if she should show him or not and decided against it. She had been working on several different models while at the school. She had even built herself a virtual version of a testing unit, so she could technically still work on her models when not in her shop and confined to her room. Frowning when he said he didn’t know what an armor suit was she had a hard time believing that. at his compliment she paused and considered it. She knew she was smart but she didn’t quite know what to say in response.
She was walking with a real living and breathing Angel…. What the hell had her life become? Listening to him say he knew very little about science or astrology she again had to give pause and just stared at Izado. she wasn’t intending to be rude she was just really confused.
He continued on to explain about his girlfriend and again she was confused. now she had no clue who his girlfriend was and she was probably the sweetest person ever but that didn’t particularly matter to Toni. One did not simply dismiss those who were important to them and leave them by themselves to go spend time with others. You made sure they had something to do or people to spend time with as well. It seemed rather cold to Toni and she just didn’t understand.
Again the subject changed to one of him and celebrations of heaven. Heaving a sigh Toni looked around and tried to spot the hidden camera.
At his question about the fireworks she looked him up and down. she was curious but she felt rude not answering his question. looking down she just seemed tired and vaguely sad, but it was gone in a flash. she was obviously talking about flying among the fireworks but that may have just been obvious to her…. Who knows…
Izado didn't expect that reaction, well maybe something like this. It had been so long since he explained himself to someone, and her sudden stop had him stop as well and he just looked at her back. He explained a few other things, but so much of this seemed to be going over her head, like she didn't believe a single word coming out of his mouth. Izado was worried about telling her the next thing, "Well to be specific, I'm an Angel of time, so I control time itself. I've since gotten better at it, but I still am limited to certain amounts of time." He figured that would damn near send her brain into outer space. Izado was confused by her silence. Usually, most people said...SOMETHING. It was the first time he had come by someone who literally said nothing, just gave him odd looks. He wasn't even sure he understood what most of these meant, and only when she started looking around did he stop walking and look at her. "Alright alright. While me being an angel is hard to prove without my halo, which isn't allowed to be here actually....I can prove I control time." What was he thinking?
Izado first decided to wave and when he did, a clone of him appeared and waved at Toni. "Think of....uh...what is it...a movie? Yes, that you can record, or...rewind, or stop. This is my record clone. It does an action I do, over a period of time. I can make multiple ones do different things." He knew she might actually think he was just cloning himself rather than anything time related. "Then if I pause time..."He proceeded to do just that, and moved a bit of a distance away from her, making the clone vanish. Resuming time, he would of literally moved to a different spot instantly. "I can be here or..somewhere or do something." Really Izado thought to do something with Toni, but she was still new, and he wasn't sure about touching a person who might not appreciate it, even if he was just demonstrating himself.
Izado walked back towards her as he started to have his yellow glow cover him. It concentrated into his hands, creating a yellow light that he sent up into the air. "Heavenly glow. It's a thing..." Izado was pretty sure all this stuff could be attributed to other powers, but one power he had might do the trick. "Uh...hmm..ok how about you tell me something that I would make you believe I could be what I say I am...and I will go back in time and tell it to you?" That seemed pretty full proof. Only she knew what would make her believe after all.

Endless seconds turned into eternal minutes. The hourglass of time itself ticked down every nanosecond of existence around him. Time was eternal, yet all things otherwise were not. This landscape would someday change back to its normal forested area. The woodland creatures, the oaks and conifer trees. The rustling of leaves, the suns rays streaming through the foliage that towered overhead. Why couldn't it be that again? Why had it been transformed into this oasis of land, surrounded by nothing but water? Images of warning protocols raced through his visuals, showing what would happen should a disaster befall the school at this very moment. All of them lead to his own destruction, sinking beneath the endless waves. Shut down. Forgotten. The inner circuits of his cranium were on the fritz now, his body becoming nearly a statue in how still he'd become. Fear was getting the better of this Golem.

There was no response to the arrival of a guest. There was no cognitive function within his processors to acknowledge this student who had also joined his presence on the beach. The slow approach of said individual went unnoticed, unattended. The sound of her voice rang into his sensory receptors, but they were scrambled away by the fear protocols. The hand slowly extended out to his presence, and just as the fingertips graced his shoulder, a hand shot up, grabbing hold of her hand. The movement was involuntary, undetermined by his own awareness, but was pure protocol response. As his metallic hand held Ellie's hand in place, His fear protocol began to diminish, bringing Siegmund back to his current setting. He was no longer alone, and as his head turned to stare at Ellie, his radiantly yellow eyes blinked. For mere moments, Siegmund stood in silence, staring at Ellie's face. The residue of tears upon her cheeks, the concerned look in her eyes. After a moment, his grip relaxed, his hand shifting down to gently holding her hand in front of him as he turned to face her. "Apologies are in order. My circuits were acting up, base defensive protocols made the first reaction it could find. Please accept my humblest apologies for hurting your hand." His other hand reached out, gently placing it on top of her held hand.
Letting her hand go, Siegmund began to process more of his surroundings. It had grown late in the day compared to when he'd first arrived to this exact location. How long exactly had he been standing here? "How long has my presence been in this locale?" He verbally questioned, trying to process the notion. Again though, his sensors made note of his company's predicament, as protocols to mend the situation struck up a cord. "Is everything alright Miss Elizabeth Paige Sentoki?" How he knew her name was thanks to his extensive research on student and faculty paperwork. Since his last meeting with Zila, it was made clear that Siegmund could do better with 'getting to know' everyone on the school grounds. What better way than to research each of them? "Has something caused you to precipitate basal tears in such frequent intervals?" His head cocked to the side, curious as to find out the reason behind her demeanor. "Ah, yes. My apologies. Proper introductions are generally considered courteous before prying into ones 'emotional' state." He placed a single hand to his chest, bowing slightly. "Siegmund Gole, head chef and bartender here in Heartless Academy. My duties have given clearance to be a 'shoulder to cry on' and an 'ear to talk to'. But prior instructions bring me to conduct I serve to help regardless of my duties."

All of his ramblings were sure to go over Ellie's head, but Siegmund was just explaining his protocols and procedures after all. "If speaking about what afflicts, ails, or has brought you to such a state is undesired, then perhaps your attention can be drawn away from the matter by helping me." Siegmund's head turned to face the ocean, staring out into the vast waves. "Do you have knowledge of what this... anomaly of endless water is? Why has the academy surrounded the grounds with such a hazard?" He could feel his protocols and circuits beginning to freeze up again, as he turned his focus directly to Ellie. He was curious.

Toni really felt like he was pranking her as he further explained that he wasn’t just your run of the mill angel but an Angel of Time at that. ”Alright Dr. Who. Where’s the Tardis then?” she asked sarcastically.
As he went on to try and prove to her that he could control time she just tapped the side of her glasses, Val recording everything. Her eyes followed him as he explained what he was doing. Frowning she really wondered if he thought she would buy this. When he asked her to tell him something that would make her believe what he was saying, and he could go back in time to tell her something specific about it she just looked at him like he was a loon. ”How does that work with the barrier as it technically won’t allow you to leave and not to mention from what I’ve noticed… People come from different realities here. Which time slip do you go to or time stream? Do you control dimensional hopping as well, because then you have my attention and I will happily talk to you about this. Because you are starting to get into Special relativity and the eigenvalue, and you would have to have an understanding of how this school’s barrier works to bypass it.” Toni stepped closer to Izado looking him over. She frankly didn’t care if he could or couldn’t control time like he said. It was more the principle that he had perked her interest now. ”How do you account for the different vectors and velocities when you do this travel? Can you bend time to your will? How about skipping ahead?” Sadly for Izado he had hit her scientific side and she wanted to know more about what he could do. If she could duplicate that into one of her suits she would be able to do a lot of things with it. She just had to understand how it worked.
Abney
Abney’s face revealed the surprise she felt, trying to comprehend that. “It changes that much?” she asked, taking another look out the ocean. So this was a forest… The water was much more preferable to her; the life and and the mystery under the waves always drew her in and kept her enthralled. It's the entire reason why she had designed the belly of Odin to have protective glass, so when they were in the water - she could just sit and watch the life blood of the planet rush by the window in it’s elegant haze. Being able to see the coral life, the fish schools, the occasional mermaid or even dolphin with her own eyes and not from a picture book always made her giddy, like a little child. Her father was too protective over his only daughter, keeping her confined to Odin or any of the other numerous ships she designed as if she were a fragile flower and could break at any moment. Abney’s thoughts on her father were fleeting, becoming more fascinated by the world around her once more. “Fascinating.” she whispered, her mind racing about what this place was and what it was capable of doing.
The bird pecked at her hand, causing a smile to spread on her face and focus on the feathered friend in front of him. “He’s really adorable,” she complimented, hesitantly reaching for him to lightly stroke his feathers as a peace gesture. Hopefully - Vulo would know that she meant no harm and was just being friendly. Being a witch - she was familiar with animal companions, familiars and soul bound animals. Her book told many tales of these animals and the connection they had to their person and what would happen if those connections were severed. Abney elected not to think about that happening to Vulo and Ostra - he was such a sweet kid and she would rather not see it happen. “Bummer I can’t hear him - I would love to hear some of his hilarious commentary! Would probably make my day,” Abney said, imagining how much it would probably suck to burst into laughter at one of the birds jokes and, being the only one to hear him, explaining what happened. At least Vulo seemed to take care of his human.
“You’ve been here a year? Is that normal?” Abney questioned, giving him a concerned look as a feeling of dread sank into her stomach. The engineer very much did not want to be there the whole year, at least not with the keys to her airship around her neck. But maybe those assholes could learn a thing or two about hypocrisy while she had them. Abney made a thinking face, hyper focusing on the bird as she thought about the knee jerk reaction to grab the keys and set Rhage up to guard the engine room. Perhaps it was a mistake… The boy seemed to reminisce - perhaps he was here by will. It certainly seemed like he was a willing captive of this place. Abney took another look around, furrowing her brows. How many of these people willingly let this place drag them here? And how many more were like her: living day to day and then suddenly - here and told to suck it up and deal with it? The boy asked a question and she blinked, confusion racing through her system. “I - uh…” she started, staring at Vulo again before shrugging lightly with one shoulder. There was no real way around it so truth it was!
“I actually can’t answer that,” she said with a small laugh. “I don’t know why I’m here. One minute I was in my engine room and the next I’m here. I was…” she started, taking a breath and trying to figure out how to explain it without being confusing. “I was tired, I was cleaning the ships after a battle. Two of my three ships were wrecked and numerous of our smaller ships were totaled. Repairs to stay airborne without leaking everywhere took hours. I went to do a common, familiar ritual - ‘cus I’m a witch and it’s what I do - and I must have messed it up.” Confusion leaked into her expression for a moment, the woman clearly trying to remember that exact moment. “But I swear I didn’t. I’ve done it thousands of times. Have since I hit 30 years old. I’m in my hundreds by the way,” Abney kind of rambled, letting her hand drop from the bird as she replayed that moment over and over in her mind. Every detail she scrutinized, trying to find the flaw. No matter how many times she replayed it - she couldn’t find it. “So I’m here. Trying to find a way to at least talk to my dad, let him know I’m alive. Last thing he probably saw of was me in the engine of an exploding mini airship.” she admitted, laughing a bit. “Sorry - I didn’t mean to ramble,” she wrapped up, an embarrassed blush popping up to her cheeks.

That look of worry, of concern within Ellie's face and eyes as she tried to free herself from Siegmund's grasp. Tears had already been forming in the corners of her eyes, yet his processors indicated his actions were at a fault as well. Seeing those tear filled eyes, holding back what was perhaps a mixture of self loathing and concern for her predicament, Siegmund could only find his memory core attempting to replay long forgotten segments. Film from a time long lost and abandoned. Had he seen this imagery before? Was his body just going about the formalities of ill forgotten actions it experienced in prior activation cycles? Siegmund wasn't sure, nor felt the drive to pursue the questions right now. For the moment, he needed to comfort this organism before him, and, with the release of her gentle hand, he apologized for his rude behavior. "I... am not used to being approached like this I suppose. A kind gesture stricken back by a harsh response. My apologies." As organically fleshed fingers left his own metallic ones, Siegmund stared down at his own appendages, the contemplation of his construction brimming on the edge of his curiosity. Why had he been given purpose if he could only cause issues? Why was he here in the first place?
❤Ί don't want to set the Ⱳorld on fire
I just want to start a Ƒlame in your ℌeart ❤
Concerns for his own existence were silenced internally as sensors noted Ms. Sentoki massaging her hand, the likely result of his grip upon her body. A hand ran up his body, clutching at the fabric of his chest piece. He'd brought harm to a lifeform that didn't desire it, nor deserved it. Was his true protocols... to harm others? He desired to not calculate such an ultimatum as his fate, focusing instead on Ms. Sentoki's words. She was off put by his knowledge of her name already, to which he was quick to inform her of his information.
After a quick exchange of greetings, Ellie received messages on her cellular device, to which she promptly drew her attention to. Signs of emotional buildup were beginning to escalate at the last of her messages, a sign that Siegmund needed to intervene with help asap. Her broken smile was nothing but a facade to cover up what was internally tearing at the young girl before him. "A companion I once spent allotted time with informed me that, 'Bottling ones internal struggles never avails the body as a whole. Strive for outer sources of resolution.' If that makes any cognitive sense Ms. Sentoki." Siegmund stated, though his voice was monotone in nature, the emphasis of his quotation was prevalent. "I may be a construct, but I can be a voice of reasoning, should you ever need it Ms. Sentoki."
❤In my ℌeart I have but one Đesire
And that one is Ɏou, no Øther will do❤
As he offered a counter topic to help drive her mind away from the tearful emotions she had bottled up, Siegmund motioned to the ocean. "O....cean? This subject matter is foreign to my processors.. What purpose does it serve?" He had only gotten his question out when Ellie explained how much the planet was covered in this 'ocean'. His body froze almost into a statuesque state again, the amount of circuitry trying not to fry from such a fearful quantity nearly overwhelming him. "So... what you are saying is.. that only thirty percent of the surface of this planet is land?" The odds were against him now. "The world in which I originate from scarcely held water in such quantities. Such a commodity was highly valued, at least that which wasn't irradiated. Organic life could not withstand radiation much, so purification chambers were often the largest of water sources around." Such was the harsh reality of his home world. Wars were often waged from groups over the smallest sliver of fresh, clean, purified water. Organic life needed it.
As she questioned water's potency towards his existence, Siegmund only stared out into the ocean. "I am not sure. Calculations indicate that my metallic components are incapable of oxidation, which is the true from of destruction to metals. Rust the result. However.." A wave had finally reached their locale, the small, brisk wave brimming up past the bottom of his shoes, just enough to flood ones shoes entirely. As the water enveloped his feet however, steam rose in vast amounts from his boots, the water evaporating at an alarming rate. The steam billowed around his body until dissipating into the air. "My internal core is fueled by fire, flooding of water is plausible to shut down my systems. Turn off my processors. Essentially..." He paused, his eyes focused on the far horizon. "Could be the death of me."
Izado rubbed the top of his head, who was...doctor who?"Doctor....what? Who? I don't understand." Izado looked at her glasses. He tilted his head and had an idea. There was a work around for his powers, sort of. Actually he could simply take her along with him, but they would have to see something that she would recognize as having gone back in time.
Before the angel could find a source, he turned to Toni as she started going off, saying words he didn't have any idea what they meant. He knew some of them, but mos everything she said sounded like straight up gibberish. "Ok, ok, ok, hold on." Izado rubbed the side of his head and put his hair behind his ear. Taking a depe breathe he looked at Toni, "I don't...understand most of what you said, but no I don't control dimensional hopping. I simply control the fabric of time. I control all forms of time. I don't have a ime strwma or...slip I...control? It's what you...would probably just call magic. Though it would be considered a divine power of sorts."Truthfully, Izado never thought of the inner workings of his powers before. They worked, and that's all he ever cared about for the most part. He was limited here, but he had extended it to crazy high levels now a days.
Toni was in his bubble, and he wasn't sure if she was allowed to be, but it felt like she was very interested in his powers. Now he wondered how it worked himself. Since she was so close Izado decided to be rather bold. This would prove a point, and maybe offer her some way to study it. "So this is from the future. I'm about to go back in time and maybe with this, you might be able to study it yourself." Izado, being with a scientist, was a bit interested in science himself. There were reasons why things worked, he just wondered if his powers had an explanation. Izado had said what he did, because if the glasses were keeping track, he oculd use that. He was also curious what would happen when he brought them. He stopped time and grabbed the glasses and put them on. Blinking a few times he backed away from her and resumed time.
"As you can see...I borrowed these. I'm going to go back with them....and when I do...they should retain the recording of everything we just talked about....That seems to be the idea anyway. If I didn't have them, what they recorded would of been lost, it's just how it works." Tapping the glasses he waved to Toni. "I'll go back to just before I told you I control time." He didn't really give her much of a chance to answer, as whatever she said wouldn't matter much. The next moment he went back a bit away and as he did the glasses stayed on his face up until he resumed time.
"So I'm about to tell you I control time now....and I'm an angel and all that...but you go into a lot of science talk that I...don't get still....the glasses should of kept the recording if you want to look at it." The recording, if it worked, is likely going to be them talking up until the moment Izado grabbed the glasses. Then it will literally come back to this moment as she had just lived it a second ago. Of course, with Izado doing things different now, the future would be a bit different. "As for the question...I never thought to go forward...not here anyway....I think that might mess up....some things....
Antonette Vanko
Toni narrowed her eyes at Izado as he tried to back peddle and say he didn’t understand anything of what she just said to him. That what she was saying was just something called magic. Scoffing at him she wrinkled her nose. ”Magic is just science that hasn’t been found or understood yet.” she was not going to fall for that line at all. Divine power her ass. She could duplicate any power she saw here as long as she understood what it did and what caused it.
As Izado said some nonsense about her glasses being from the future she became very wary of him. Yet in the next instance he had her glasses and was putting them on. The speaker that was built into the frames would come down and settle over his ear. ”Hello. I am Val. Be kind to me as I’m not sure what Toni would do to you if I am not returned unharmed.” she would display her readings as normal on the glasses for him.
Toni on the other hand was outraged that he would take her glasses from her. She panicked at the implications of what he said. Did the idiot not know how time streams worked?! If he did something like that it would diverge the time streams and create a ripple effect. To do something so blatantly horrible. And then he was gone.
Past Toni –
Toni blinked as something seemed to happen to Izado and then he was standing before her with her glasses on his face. Instinctively she reached up and touched them to make sure they were still on her face. As he said some insane things about him being an angel as well as controlling time she gave him a very familiar face that said she was calling him an idiot in her mind. However when he gave her the glasses she saw a very familiar Val but with a different time stamp. ”Val display anything back to this time stamp.” to her astonishment there was plenty. She fast forwarded through some of what she said in the clip and laughed when she could hear herself yelling at the angel. Yet her face froze as he said he hadn’t thought about going forward. Her head snapping up she looked at him and immediately started shouting. ”Did you not think of what this would do to the time streams?! You have completely altered the past and now created a time paradox by bringing these back with you!” she pointed at the glasses and then quickly gave them back to him almost shoving them into his chest. ”Well mister you need to figure out in the next minute how to go forward in time because who knows what will happen if you don’t. There are now two sets of those glasses here and it could rip the very fabric of time apart unless you want to be stuck in a loop constantly going back!” why did people do these things without understanding the consequences first!?! Wracking her brain she immediately started thinking what to do if he couldn’t go forward. She was good but she wasn’t that good.
Izado was pretty sure science wouldn't be able to explain the way he manipulated time, then again he knew little to nothing about science, so maybe she was right? Though he doubted he would have an answer anytime soon. Still with the glasses now on his face he just nodded to the voice after a brief period of being surprised by it. Going back in time, he returned Tonis glasses to her and told her to watch the things on here since it would be undeniable proof of what he could do.
Instead of the usual responce he expected, he was met with what he would consider ferociousness. Izado blinked several times and reactively closed his hands down around the pair of glasses. Her talk of paradoxes and such didn't miss the angel, but he folded his arms. "Forward...don't think I've done that one...." He huffed and looked around. While he was sure this created no paradoxes for a few reasons, she seemed overly worried that something might happen and the entire fabric of everything would explode. "Uh....none of that will happen...." Izados hold on time extended farther than just controlling it. "I uh..said I'm an Angel of time remember? Part of...that job involves paradoxes and things of that nature. If it will make you feel better though...."Izado had no real reason to forward time, in fact he wasn't sure how going to the the future would work out. He was certain seeing it would indeed change it once he came back. "You should....relax more. I will....do this for..your piece of mind." Izado held the glasses and spun them a few times on his finger, that was easy to do! Onto the matter at hand, time stopped for a moment, and then shot forward, almost like things sped up at a faster rate, and slowed to the present and he looked at Toni. "Here...I uhm...went forward. You can have these." He said handing her the glasses. He was still certain no kind of paradoxes formed, but it was a chance to try out something new, who knew!
Izado noticed it starting to be fairly late in the evening. He didn't have a watch or anything, but he knew fireworks were going to be close. Before he could bring up needing to go though, he heard a voice say 'hey'. Turning he found a.......water...person? Izado actually couldn't tell what was happening, but it looked like a woman who was basically all water. He looked over her and suddenly wondered if it was ok to be looking as it seemed she had no clothes? At least what one would consider regular clothes or something. Izado lowered his head and turned slightly. "Uh hey there!" Izado looked at Toni, assuming she knew who this was. "I'll leave you with your friend and we can..uhm...talk later." He wasn't sure if he would see her again, but he had a strange feeling he would be sought after for his powers later on. Izado turned to the water spirit and averted his gaze again, "Ah...uhm enjoy the festivi..ities!" It took him a moment to remember what Ilene called it during their run around earlier. Speaking of, he needed to go find her and took off, expanding his wings and flying into the sky.
Izado wasn't sure where Ilene would be. She went to hang out with Emilia and who knows all the things they did and where they ended up at the end of it all. Izado hovered in the air a moment and found Ilene sitting on some benches and eating...something. Izado smiled, he was super happy to see her. He wondered if he should try...doing the trick thing. Playing a trick on her! Izado wondered what he could do, but maybe just appear by her side and see what that would do. Stopping time momentarily he flew down and landed on the bench and noticed she was digging into tons of sweets. Resuming things, he reached over and grabbed one, "Hey..candy" He said picking out something at random. "Oh hello there beautiful one."He smiled and laughed. Maybe his attempts at jokes were still a bit off base.
Reading and responding Zidane’s text wasn’t something easy for her. Not only because it was a reminder of the things she had done, or the fact that it brought Lyrit’s face to her mind… it was because Zidane was the sender. They were friends, couldn’t things be worse? Elizabeth couldn’t hold her tears and it was obvious that her “smile” hadn’t worked at all considering the words that Siegmund spoke next “It… It makes sense but no, I’m not bottling up… I’m just… hurt… Right now is not the moment” She said this, still looking at her hands. She could only imagine how pathetic she must be looking to the man in front of her. What would her family think about her if they saw her like that? As a disappointment for sure. After a second or two, she dared to look up at him “But thanks for your offering, Siegmund” She murmured as she wiped her tears once more, she needed to stop making a scene.
Thankfully, Siegmund changed the topic and even though she was a little confused, she did her best to respond. Ellie proceeded to explain the ocean and what it was; Siegmund had asked a question but before she could answer it, she was able to notice a sudden change in him… had he frozen again? She opened her mouth in order to ask if he was okay but she soon discovered that he actually had the intention to talk to her this time “Well… yes, it means only 30% is land but the planet is big enough so-” She wasn’t able to continue but she let him talk freely. What he was saying was… disheartening, having water so scarce? That without taking into account radiation… “Can I ask what planet you come from? Or… what time?” What if he was from the future? The picture in her head wasn’t pretty and the thought just made her feel sadder.
Trying to change the topic to the more pressing situation, Ellie asked if the water was harmful for him. He began explaining, the metal on his body didn’t rust, but there was something else holding him back. She was looking at him as she waited for him to continue, but then something demanded her attention: a hissing sound, followed by… steam? She looked down and saw the origin of it. The water had reached him and it was evaporating for the contact with his feet. After that, he went on, pointing out that if the fire within him dissipated… he could die. Ellie looked at him with a worried expression, by the tone of it, she could have sworn that he was dreadful… He was a sentient android. “Your internal core… is it here?” She asked as she carefully placed her hand over his chest, touch not bothering the purple haired girl at all. Siegmund was looking at her movements, so he wouldn’t see her like a threat… he wouldn’t hurt her again, right? The feeling under her touch was warm, warmer than his hand, so her assumption could be correct. “There’s nothing to worry about it the water doesn’t reach your chest, right?” She asked in a soft tone.
She pulled back her hand and stepped back, hoping she didn’t offend him in any way. Elizabeth pulled up her top and unraveled the overskirt around her hips, leaving her in the white swimsuit she had been wearing just in case. Could she still be useful in any way? She could try… Before entering to the water, she addressed him “Come on, you’re not going to evaporate all the water, it will just take a little time so the temperature of your body surrounding the water, gets to a balanced level” How did she know this? Something similar tended to happen to her body and her plasma “If the water is so precious where you come from, this is something you must experience” Being surrounded in water was not as graceful as it was with others, but it wasn’t a reason to not enter and he wouldn’t submerge entirely.
She offered her hands but began to walk backwards, inviting him to enter with her. Once the water was at her waist level, she stopped and placed her hands under the water. After a few seconds, her hands illuminated. It was like if it was a blue hologram, a defective one because it glitched, turning on and off erratically, steam rising as well due to the heat. It wasn’t her doing, her body reacted that one after being under water for some time. Her lower body behaved in the same way but with a minor intensity, her hands being where her powers concentrated the most. “Hey!” She called him out “I’m not fan of the water either, but it’s okay! See? We’re similar!” Similar. She was trying to smile but her smile disappeared no longer after. They weren’t similar. He was made that way, perfect in his own manner. She on the other hand? She was flawed, naturally defective. However, she would do what she always did, trying to help others and trying to not being a burden at the same time. She was trying her best to encourage him, even if she was being torn apart inside... choosing to enter or not, was his absolute decision.

Toni could have thrown something at Izado as he said that he was an angel of time and that his job involved paradoxes. She was about to call one of her armors to her and blast his ass but he did as she asked. After a few moments he reappeared and gave her the glasses back. She knew a small hiccup had been created from his stupid move but she believed him now. She scoffed as he said that she should relax more. Well she was relaxed until he had almost destroyed known reality.
As she was about to say something to him as she took her glasses back someone near them called out to them. Toni herself was still rather new to the school so she looked to Izado thinking it was someone he knew. Yet as he basically ditched her she yelled out. ”HEY! You jerk! I’ll find you later.” she frowned in the direction he went before she put her glasses back on and touched the side of them to ensure that Val was fine. Hearing the familiar beeps and seeing the normal display she sighed in relief.
Turning her attention to the one who had called out to them she lifted a hand in greeting. ”Hello?” she wasn’t sure what to think of this person. She had just met a time angel and now a person who looked like water. What the hell was the world coming to??
Arika
Seeing the angel shy away from Arika, Arika herself becomes somewhat uncomfortable. Am I showing? I thought I was doing a good enough job hiding what most people consider off-limits...but he didn't seem very comfortable around me...if I could wear clothes, I would, but for the most part, those just make things worse. They just get all wet and tight and uncomfortable... She moves her arms to be over the summit of her breasts, as if covering herself up, and her legs move a bit closer together. Maybe I should just leave...
She then hears Toni respond to her, with an extended hand. Keeping her left arm crossed over her chest, Arika moves her right hand, taking Toni's, and shaking it lightly. In doing so, Toni would feel the coolness of Arika's hand, and the human's hand would become a little damp in the process. The water elemental gives Toni a little smile. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare him away. I just felt like meeting some new people. I thought it might be nice to make a friend or two before meeting the person who I'm supposed to spend the rest of my life with." Looking down at herself for a moment, she soon turns her attention back to Toni. "I think it's obvious why he was uncomfortable with me. If you are as well, I'll leave. I do have some clothes in my room, but...being made of water does have its downsides. Most fabrics don't work very well for long. But I know that some people don't like hanging out with people as...showy? Is that the word. As showy as me. Say the word, and I'm gone."

Despite his best efforts to get Ellie to speak her emotional status, she seemed reluctant, mentioning she wasn’t bottling it up, but now was not the time for lamenting it out. Siegmund, being the logical being he was, attempted to understand this concept as the tears welled up in Ellie’s eyes. Her status brought mixed calculations to Siegmund’s processors. He had the tools readily available to help remedy the situation, yet the individual didn’t seek his aide, they chose to endure the emotional situation they were in, whatever the source was. Such a notion, a mere concept felt… odd. He would need to analyze this information on a different time and report to Zila for questioning.
Ellie had heard out his questions, and in turn, answered them with precision accuracy based to her knowledge. Siegmund enjoyed that part, but the rest was sheer terror. So much water surrounding the surface of this world was a horrifying notion, it meant his chances of staying active for an extended period were roughly dropped down by forty nine point eight percent. Thankfully the school seemed to NORMALLY be positioned rather inland, but if events like today were common.. Hearing her elaborate on the planet's water to land ratio, Siegmund had interrupted her, before noticing a distinct change in her demeanor. He had mentioned his own home world, and Ellie seemed uneasy about such a notion. She questioned his origins, both in location, title, and position in the timeline of reality. Siegmund, emotionless in expression as ever, shook his head. ”I am sorry to say, but I do not know the origin or location of my home world in accordance to this one. Needless to say the lack of knowledge extends to the time zone.” Did she worry that this world was to be destined to become his reality? ”From my calculations, I have analyzed that this world functions on much greater scale of complexity to the world I originate from. Years of radiation originating from unknown sources brought down society on the surface, whereas residents and denizens alone moved onwards. To the sky.” He looked up into the clouds above for a moment, thinking of the stories the scavengers had told him. ”But such information is null important now. We must assess today's issues Ms. Sentoki.”
❤Ί don't want to set the Ⱳorld on fire
I just want to start a Ƒlame in your ℌeart ❤
The world around him had decided that a visual demonstration was more prominent to explaining his design, as Ellie witnessed the water steaming from mere contact with is legs and feet. Her expression shifted from that of sorrow to concern and worry, was she feeling concern for his safety? Calculating an elaboration of his reactivation process, Siegmund found Ellie reaching out a hand, pressing it to his chest cavity. Within his body the spark of flame flickered, its crackles and pops resembling the rhythmic actions of a heartbeat. Siegmund made no notion to stop her from doing as she pleased, letting her experience what was his existence. ”There is an access panel underneath the shirt if you desire a closer look.” He remarked, watching as her hand pulled back from his body.
She brought an unusual question to his attention, noting if water making contact with his chest cavity was the only real way to shut it down. ”In theory yes. From what the scavengers who found me have stated, other means can cause a deactivation, as it was apparent my body has been deactivated before.” He watched Ellie begin to.. Strip? She was removing clothing before him, much to his confusion. After an analysis of her attire through scanners, he determined the outfit she had LEFT on was made for water excursions. Was she going to go into the water? It would be interesting to see someone do the action known as swimming. This however seemed to be not the case as Ellie spoke.
❤In my ℌeart I have but one Đesire
And that one is Ɏou, no Øther will do❤
Go into the water?! Was she mad?! She was inviting him to step out into the dangerous waters, to put himself at risk and potentially deactivate right then and there! All his protocols informed him to refuse the offer, to remain vigilant and let her do as she pleased. But.. as her hands extended towards him, watching her venture backwards with such an inviting presence, it brought a sudden override. Was this trust? Was he trusting an organic lifeform to ensure his salvation? With a defiant step forth, his body reacted against his warnings, and followed Ellie into the water. With each step, more and more steam rose from the water. The bubbling, sizzling sound radiated from directly next to his body, and as more of his legs submerged, he found his movements growing slower, more and more fuel being needed to move the ligaments just inches. His halting in pace was growing evident, as his eyes fixated down to the slowly rising tide of the water.
Eventually, Ms. Sentoki halted her reversal advancement into the sea, letting her hands go under the waters surface. His eyes, fixating on her presence, began to notice the glowing blue that radiated from her body. Her arms, hands, and even her legs in a minor status were glowing. ”Fascinating, bioluminesce is a wondrous biological feature..” Siegmund stated bluntly, curious as to her intentions for bringing him out here for that notion alone. As steam rose from her arms however, he began to understand her reasoning. She too had heat generated from her body, at least from her limbs it seemed. As waves crashed gently against his waist, Siegmund looked up to Ellie’s face, her words calling them similar a foreign sentence to his existence. He was not similar to her in anyway. She was born with these gifts, given a chance to understand them from an early stage. Siegmund didn’t understand his existence. Letting a hand slide into the water, Siegmund stared down into the water. ”Thank you for your thoughtful, kind words Ms. Sentoki. But we are far from similar. You exude a presence of one trying to find new experiences in life, while holding onto memories of the past. I have no such luxury, the moments prior to my arrival, or consequently my reactivation wiped from my memory cores.” He paused, looking up to meet her gaze. ”I am, how you say, defective.”
The conversation had grown to a rather depressive one, but Siegmund found the good in the matter. She had given him a chance to do something he never would have calculated to do. ”I must thank you Ms. Sentoki. My protocols would have never allowed me to come out into such a dangerous environment without support. Someone to.. Rely on.” His eyes met hers as a rare occurrence came about. Stretched across his face was a smile. Not a fast ‘one and done’ smile, but a genuine smile. Its presence radiated a sense of tranquility about him, and as the curfew bell rang from the school behind them, fireworks lit up the sky off into the waters. The bright colorful lights lit up his face in various patterns and colorations, but the smile remained the same.

Toni raise an eyebrow as she noticed the water creature covering herself. It was an interesting concept that one who didn’t have clothes on would be self-conscious. Pulling her hand back from the handshake Toni looked at her hand feeling the dampness. Looking up at the water creature as it spoke Toni tilted her head slightly. ”Oh I had just met him a bit ago. So don’t worry about it. He probably went to find his girlfriend or something.” given the word choice she used Toni ventured to guess that this ‘person’ was new. ”I take it you are new to this school?” Toni frowned though as the girl asked if she was uncomfortable with her and explained about her clothes…
It seemed awkward to Toni and she really didn’t understand what she was supposed to do. Yet she felt bad for the creature… she really shouldn’t keep calling this person in front of her a creature. But it wasn’t human… was it like some of the enhanced humans that had been back home? The clothing part caught Toni’s attention and she wondered if she had any Nano bots that could withstand submersion. That would be something she would have to look into. Could she build that? This Nano tech seemed like a route she would want to go…
Pulling her thoughts back together she shrugged and shook her head. ”Nah, you’re fine. It’s not like you have anything I don’t. At least from the looks of it. So don’t worry. I’m Toni. What’s your name?”
Hearing the bell go off Toni was expecting to be teleported back but was surprised when they weren’t. ”Odd normally they send us back to our dorms when that bell goes off.” Looking at the display on her glasses Val pulled up a memo and spoke through a small speaker on Toni’s hip. ”It looks like a notice was sent out that there would be fireworks this evening.” Reaching up Toni scratched her head. ”That was Val my Ai.” she tapped her glasses. ”Val where would be the best place to see these fireworks?” A few images ran across the screen of her glasses before an aerial picture of the beach came up. ”I would say the beach.” Toni looked to the new person and pointed towards the beach. ”Want to go to the beach to see the fireworks?”
Arika
As opposed to the angel which had now departed, Toni seemed more accepting of Arika as she was. Still, something about Toni's expression seemed a bit...uncertain. For a little bit, Arika couldn't quite place what it is that Toni couldn't figure out. Still, a little smile crosses her face as Toni speaks up. "I'm Arika." She responds to the girl's question. "Arika Azura." She then realizes what it might be that Toni couldn't figure out, and her eyes widen just slightly for a moment. "If you're wondering why I'm the way I am, I should probably say that I'm not human. I'm a water elemental. And yeah, I'm new to the school. First day. Though it looks like I might have beat my roommate to arriving." She laughs briefly.
Hearing the voice coming from Toni's glasses, what passed for an eyebrow raises on Arika's face. Toni then explains it though, and so she nods, then nods again when Toni mentions the beach and the fireworks. "I don't think I'd ever pass up a chance to go to the beach." Raising her left hand, it deflates as she pushes the water out of it, forming a ball which moves to her right hand. "I can have plenty of fun there. I can control the water which I've stored in me. But if it leaves, then a part of me withers. But if I'm in water, I can replace the water as fast as I use it." She chuckles. "Yeah, let's go to the beach. Maybe after the fireworks, I can put on a water show. At least until they send us to our rooms." Her little smile had become a broad grin.

Toni nodded and was glad to see Val display the name next to a picture of Arika’s face on her glasses. Shortly after the image faded as Arika explained that she wasn’t human, but instead was a water elemental. ”Yeah I am beginning to think I am the only human at this school. That guy who flew off, Izado, said he was an Angel from heaven that had the ability to control time.” she shrugged trying to make sense of it all. ”That or they weren’t in the dorm when you went there. Sometimes people fall for someone not their roommate and marry out leaving the roommate behind. I’ve heard about room switches from some of the other students.” Toni shrugged again before turning to head to the beach.
”I’m newer myself. It’s taking some getting used to but it doesn’t seem that bad.” Looking at Arika’s hand as she demonstrated her abilities Toni had to stop and pause. ”I don’t even know what to say to that! How does it work? Is it like osmosis?” she adjusted her glasses and tried to not go too sciency. It had almost scared off Izado from talking to her. So she didn’t want to make this person think she was weird as well. Considering everyone had fantastic powers and she was just a smart person.
Getting down to the beach it was starting to darken but there were still lights shining down from the carnival that lit it just enough to see. Leaning down Toni picked up a handful of sand feeling it run through her fingers. ”I just make things, suits of armor or gadgets. That’s my super power.”
Arika
"Osmosis?" Arika asks, an eyebrow raised at Toni's questioning. She had never heard the term before, so was unsure what exactly it meant. "I've always kind of thought of it like drinking. But if you want to call it osmosis...sure, you can do that. To be honest, I'm not quite sure what that means. I guess it sounds like something that could work. Oh, and welcome to the school. I'm not sure if I'm the right person to say it, but...here I am." She lets out a little laugh.
She walks down with Toni to the beach, sitting down on the water. Due to condensation, the sand stuck to her feet and backside, as it would to someone with wet skin. She listens to Toni explain what she can do, and gives her a little smile. "Hey, making armor and gadgets is a pretty amazing ability. It's a lot more than I can do. My powers are probably going to be limited to be just for entertainment, and if I don't keep myself filled with water, I'd lose the ability to even move. But you can actually do something useful. I might seem more entertaining, but your ability can change lives, I think." She stands up again and puts her hand on Toni's shoulder. "Don't go thinking that just because you can't do something like what I or that angel can do, you're useless. I'd love to see what all you can do." She then glances at Toni's glasses. "Did you build Val?"
Antonette Vanko
Toni raised an eyebrow looking at Arika. It surprised her but didn’t at the same time that again someone didn’t seem to ask themselves how their power worked. ”Yeah, Osmosis - a process by which molecules of a solvent tend to pass through a semipermeable membrane from a less concentrated solution into a more concentrated one, thus equalizing the concentrations on each side of the membrane. I figured that was why the appendage collapsed like that.” Listening to Arika’s analogy she could see how it would apply. She smirked faintly as Arika welcomed her to the school. ”Well the same to you too. Hopefully you will have a short stay.”
Thinking about the armors she could make she smiled as Arika said that she had an amazing ability. ”Maybe. I think it would depend on your situation for how your water could be used.” there was always a lot to be considered. Feeling a wet spot on her shoulder she looked at it while Arika’s hand was there. ”I wouldn’t say I’m useless. I just don’t have anything particularly special about me. If you take my gadgets and armor away I’m a pretty basic person. And yeah I built her. She took a long time but I wanted to take my time and perfect her before just launching her.” she chuckled and looked up into the sky as fireworks started going off. They really were pretty.
Arika
Suddenly, Toni starts to use even more big words. When she finishes talking about that, Arika smiles, trying to pass off some degree of understanding. "If that's fancy talk for saying that my body becomes useless if it's not filled with water, then yeah, that's right. You saw what happened if I emptied my hand. Imagine what would happen if I emptied my whole body." She then thinks of something else, related to the subject they were just talking about. "Speaking of which, there's another advantage to your ability over mind. If your gadgets and armor get taken away, you can still be you. But if my water gets taken away, then I become a throw rug."
She laughs for a moment, then sees a flash in the sky. Turning to it, she sees the fireworks, and lays down in the sand, her arms behind her head. The top layer of sand flows into her membrane, sticking to Arika due to the ever-present condensation of the elemental. Those are pretty... She thinks to herself, before turning to Toni a little. "I hope you have a short time here as well, in a good way. Finding the love of your life or something like that. I think that's easier said than done."
Antonette Vanko
Toni blinked trying to figure out if Arika actually understood what she had said or not. Hearing her give a simpler explanation she chuckled and shrugged. ”Well that’s sorta what I meant. The water is the solution going from one side of the membrane to the other. Without something, or water, to equalize the pressure on either side the inside of the membrane collapses.” Toni tilted her head thinking about what Arika said about how smart she was. ”I’m not sure. If my intellect was taken away I wouldn’t have the same personality. So while the body would be the same, I wouldn’t be the same person. So to say anyway.” it was really a very philosophical way of thinking about it.
Looking up at the sky as the fireworks start she only tilts her head in the direction of Arika as she returns the sentiment about a short stay. ”I suppose but I can’t seem to find anyone who peeks my interest, well, maybe one but I’m not sure if he would understand. What about you? What would you be looking for in a partner?” she looks back at Arika curiously before giggling softly at the sight of the sand sticking to her.
Arika
"You'd be closer to being you than I would if I, you know...died." She thinks about that for a few moments as she watches the fireworks. What would happen if she was drained of all her water? It was something she had never experienced. Would she die? She didn't know. All she knew was that if a part of her wasn't filled with water, it stopped working. And what would happen if she lost the ability to do that osmosis thing that Toni was talking about. would she just slowly dry out?
She then hears Toni pose another question, and so she turns to look at her. Arika's face would be illuminated by the light of the fireworks, the light somewhat diffusing into her. "Hmm...what I look for in a partner...I'm not sure." Arika admits. "Getting married...that's a sexual thing, right? I'm not sure that I'm the right person for that, then. Plus, I've never even thought of it, not before I got here. I guess...I don't know. That they're good and loving...a good lover. And that they might not want kids, because I don't know if my body can even do that."
Antonette Vanko
Toni didn’t really have anything to say to Arika’s comment about her being closer than she would be to a herself if she died or had her intellect taken away. Toni wasn’t sure she wanted to delve too deep into that conversation.
She did give Arika a funny look as she asked if getting married was a sexual thing. Well it could be…. Depends on how one described marriage and which culture they came from. Listening to the things Arika wanted Toni wasn’t sure what to say or how to process the information. ”So a marriage doesn’t have to be a sexual thing. Depending on where you are from it can be different things. Sex can be part of it but it doesn’t have to be the whole thing.” Not only that but good was subjective. Hearing that Arika wasn’t even sure if she could have children Toni looked back to her and seemed confused. ”How were you born then? Does your species not procreate?” oh man… this whole other species thing was going to be hard. Tapping Val she decided to log everything she had learned about the Angel and Arika later on.
Arika
Arika listens to Toni explain things, nodding a bit. "I guess that makes sense. If it's not reliant on sex, then...I guess I can do that." She sits up a little bit, watching the fireworks for a minute. They were fascinating to her. Always have been. The light keep reflecting on her skin, the color bleeding into her just barely. She then looks to Toni as she starts to ask questions. "I...actually don't know how I was born." She admits. "Never asked. Maybe I was born like a human, maybe I'm some part that got cut off and formed into another living thing." She shrugs. "I mean, if I want, I can make it look like I have reproductive organs, though I don't think they're functional. I mean, look at me. I'm made of water. Water isn't an organ." She laughs. "I remember growing, so...maybe we reproduce by splitting. Like, if someone cut me down the middle," She runs her finger down the center of her face, demonstrating, "Arika might die, but two more elementals might come. Or if my arm was cut off, maybe that would be something new." She shrugs again.
For a moment, Elizabeth looked at Siegmund as she bit her lower lip. He was not moving again but, for some reason, it seemed like he was deliberating with himself to enter to the water with her. She would understand if he didn’t want to go in, she was a stranger anyway and considering what she was… well, he actually was doing the correct thing by not trusting her. Still, she held her hands towards him and another very small smile crossed her features. Siegmund was stepping forward. Steam was rising from the parts the water touched his body, he seemed to be going a little bit slower with each step and that made Ellie wonder if it was something due to his mechanic body… or if it was because he was hesitating about his decision. He stopped and she did the same, perhaps this was the safest distance for him and in any case, she wasn’t going to advance further than the waist limit.
In an attempt to make him less nervous, she moved her hands to her sides and under the water, trying to show him that, actually, we more similar than he would have thought. “Oh, is just not only bioluminescence…” She answered to his comment, as steam also rose from her limbs. That’s when she mentioned out loud that she thought they were similar. They both emitted heat, water didn’t react the same way with them as it did with others. Then, her train of thoughts changed, considering that they were in fact no similar. Just by the fact that she was actually defective. It was not needed to say that she was surprised by his next words “Defective? I don’t think you are… Actually, I think I am the one defective. This…” She mentioned as she slightly raised her hands from the water “This isn’t something my powers weren’t made for. Not for water, so they just don’t know what to do and they glitch” Her plasma powers, she had never had a problem with them, it had been very useful during her life, but this part? Once she got underwater? That was proof that they just didn’t work there. “Besides, I used to have a set of powers that messed with my head all the time… I think I’m the defective here… You, by the other hand… Perhaps it is inconvenient, but I think if you were programmed that way, it was because of a reason. What if they actually gave you an opportunity of a fresh start each time?” A fresh start, that was something she wished so earnestly at that moment.
Their conversation had become darker than she had expected. There was a small silence between them so she looked down; however her gaze went up to him when he spoke up again. Ellie tilted her head slightly, Sieg was thanking her “I’m sorry for suggesting something against your protocols… But thanks for trusting me” What happened next, she didn’t expect it. He looked at her and… he smiled. Sentient androids like him could smile, right? But there was something in Siegmund’s smile, he was smiling in a very calm and sincere way, that she couldn’t help but to smile back the same way. Perhaps… Perhaps she wasn’t 100% useless?
Elizabeth was still looking at him, she first saw the colorful lights lighting up his face before hearing a familiar pop behind her. Turning around, she was able to see the fireworks in all their splendor. They were so beautiful and Ellie instinctively moved to Sieg’s side in order to watch them better “Have you ever consider about keeping a diary?” Perhaps it was a silly suggestion, but that’s the first thing she could think of about him having his memory wiped every time. Ellie continued watching the fireworks but after a moment, at the sight of them, inevitably also made her think of Zidane… And Lyrit. Was he still alone? Her smile slowly banished and her gaze went down once more “I… I will return to the shore” Not waiting to the end of the fireworks, Ellie dragged herself out the water, walking slowly until she reached the dry sand.
Once there, she grabbed her stuff, in order to cover herself again, looking as well for her phone… had anyone answered her? She didn’t have a text from Zidane, but she got one from Asher. Which… unfortunately she didn’t know how to respond due to her mood… And then she read Emilia’s… What she read, broke her heart, she felt as if it was being squished by a barbed wire. Zidane was holding hands and kissing a… random girl. Perhaps a newbie? “I am… I am the problem…” They had spent a good amount of time together, as roomates, but that wasn’t enough… A new girl could win his heart, she was the one who wasn’t appealing for him. Elizabeth began to sob, keeping her eyes closed tightly, more tears sliding down her cheeks. She was trying to control herself, she didn’t want Siegmund to see her that way.
No longer after, she was able to feel Sieg’s presence at her side “I… I am s-sorry… I just--” She managed to say between sobs. “I just want to... to return to my dorm but… b-but he’s gonna… he’s gonna be there…” Not daring to look at him and keeping her head down, she blindly reached out, trying to hold his hand “T-This… this is stupid but… but… could you please still with… with me?” She asked between more tears. She didn’t want anyone to see her that way… but she also didn’t want to be alone. She was asking too much, wasn’t her?

Toni was feeling increasingly awkward. Should she really be the one having this conversation? She wasn’t so sure she was the one most qualified for it. She had only just learned that there were other species besides human. Looking up at the fireworks as Arika did Toni just barely turned her head to listen to the elemental speak. ”I’m sure you can do anything if you try hard enough.” it was a line that just came out. Toni was used to saying things like that to the students who came in to see her work at her families company back home.
Shifting she turned her eyes to Arika and admired the way the colors danced on her. ”Well hopefully you don’t vanish when you procreate. I do believe your partner here would not be happy to lose you in such a way.” she commented knowing she wouldn’t want to lose someone like that. ”It sounds like a very sad and lonely existence.” she wasn’t sure where to go from there. Down the beach a ways she could see some festivities going on. It looked like a lot of waterworks right near the beach where people sat on the sand.
Arika
"Sad and lonely..." Arika repeats the word which Toni had just used to describe the Elemental's life. "I don't think those are very good words for it. I've never been sad, and I've never been lonely." She gives Toni a smile, half of her face being lit up by the fireworks. "Even talking about death in this kind of way doesn't sound so bad. Can you imagine if it did work like that? Just when you think I'm about to go, suddenly there's two of me!" She laughs for a few moments, then turns to look back at the fireworks. "So, it's not sad, and it's not lonely. It's life, and I think it's a fun thing. And plus, all of this is just me guessing. I won't know for sure until it happens. So, no point worrying about it."
